Alison Round and Laverne Hill

A group of ladies in Flint were nominated as Community Champions after supporting key workers throughout the pandemic.

Laverne and Alison joined with other friends and began using their sewing skills to turn donated materials into scrub bags, scrubs, hats and masks.

Once completed, the ladies gifted their products to key workers in local care homes and NHS services, to do their bit in keeping key workers safe and comfortable.
